Cheesy Breadsticks

In my college town, the go-to late night snack was a box of cheesy breadsticks from a local pizza spot. The ones we had back then were pretty basic. But I’ve stepped it up in this recipe with some garlic butter sauce and Alfredo sauce underneath all the cheese. They’re so good you’ll have a hard time stopping at just one!

Notes

If the dough springs back when you’re trying to roll it out, let the dough rest for another 10 to 15 minutes and then continue pressing it into a large rectangle If you don’t have a rolling pin, you can use an olive oil bottle or wine bottle to roll out the dough. Most grocery stores sell pre-made pizza dough near the deli section in the prepared foods area. My favorites are from Trader Joe’s or Wegmans. If your grocery store doesn’t have prepared pizza dough, the Pillsbury pizza dough also works. And if you’re feeling fancy, you can get pizza dough from your local pizza restaurant.
