Ingredient Substitutions: 🔄 Dijon mustard → Yellow mustard (sweeter and milder), Spicy brown mustard (more kick), Whole grain mustard (adds texture) 🔄 Honey → Maple syrup (for a deeper, earthy sweetness), Agave syrup (similar texture, slightly milder flavor), Brown sugar (use slightly less, and whisk until dissolved) 🔄 Olive oil → any kind of oil will work! 🔄 Famous Dave’s Seasoning → salt + garlic powder or 1 tsp seasoned salt + 1 tsp garlic powder 🔄 Garlic powder → 1 clove fresh garlic, minced or onion powder 🔄 Boneless skinless chicken thighs → Chicken breasts or shrimp would go great in the marinade. Or you could do frozen chicken nuggets and toss them in a little bit of the sauce. Or do steak and don't marinade it! 🔄 Red or white wine vinegar → Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice would work 🔄 Spring mix → Romaine, arugula, or spinach 🔄 Mini cucumbers → any kind of cucumber, snap peas, or leave them out! 🔄 Cherry tomatoes → any kind of tomato or peaches 🔄 Feta → shaved parmesan, goat cheese, or mini mozzarella balls 🔄 Green onions → chives, thinly sliced red onion, shallots 🔄 Avocado → sliced hard-boiled egg (for creaminess + protein), diced roasted sweet potatoes (for a fall-ish twist), or skip it!
