Sheet Pan Honey Garlic Sausage & Veggies

Everything goes on one sheet pan, the honey garlic sauce does most of the work, and the oven handles the rest. The sausage gets a little crispy and the veggies soften and caramelize. It’s simple, flexible, and exactly the kind of dinner I lean on when I need something solid without overthinking it.

Notes

Ingredient Substitutions: 🔄 Pork Kielbasa → Chicken sausage, Smoked turkey sausage, Frozen meatballs, italian sausage (dropped in balls), or Tofu or chickpeas for a meat-free version 🔄 Sweet Potato → Butternut squash, Carrots, Parsnips, or Additional gold potatoes 🔄 Gold Potatoes → Russet potatoes, Red potatoes, Baby potatoes, or Cauliflower 🔄 Green Beans → Asparagus, Zucchini, Snap peas, Brussels sprouts 🔄 Broccoli → Cauliflower, Bell peppers, Mushrooms 🔄 Butter → Olive oil, Ghee, Avocado oil 🔄 Honey → Maple syrup, Brown sugar, Agave 🔄 Dijon Mustard → Whole grain mustard, Yellow mustard (milder), A small splash of apple cider vinegar if you skip mustard 🔄 French Onion Soup Mix → 1 teaspoon onion powder + 1 teaspoon garlic powder + pinch of paprika, 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning, 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning + extra salt to taste 🔄 Dried Basil & Oregano → Italian seasoning, Herbs de Provence, Thyme or rosemary Make This Gluten Free: This recipe is naturally gluten free as long as you use a sausage that doesn’t contain fillers with gluten. Double-check the label and swap the French onion soup mix for a gluten-free version (or just use salt, garlic powder, and onion powder instead). Make Ahead Tips: You can chop everything earlier in the day and keep it in the fridge in airtight containers. When it’s time for dinner, toss with oil and seasoning and bake. Leftovers reheat really well in a skillet or air fryer. Don’t Overcrowd the Pan: Give everything a little breathing room so the veggies roast instead of steam. If your sheet pan is packed, divide it between two pans. More caramelized edges, more flavor, happier dinner. Kid-Friendly Version: Keep a few pieces of sausage and potatoes plain before tossing in the sauce, or drizzle their portion with just olive oil and salt. Same dinner, fewer negotiations at the table. Sauce Shortcut: If you’re not in a sauce-making mood, skip the honey garlic glaze and just toss everything with olive oil + French onion soup mix. It’s still delicious and requires zero extra effort.
